Après une première exposition remarquée à la Galerie Lazarew Paris au printemps 2014, l'artiste équatorienne Isabel ESPINOZA présente sa première exposition à Bruxelles.
Le travail d'Isabel ESPINOZA ne peut se cantonner à un seul médium: dessin, sculpture, peinture, installations, performances, l'artiste équatorienne s'investit physiquement dans une oeuvre où le vide et l'espace tiennent un rôle primordial.
D'identité, il est toujours question, comme en témoignent les oeuvres récentes de ses séries Metafora de los Escudos ou Centros y Desbordes. Mais ses dernières oeuvres sur papier, sur lesquelles la couleur fait son apparition, témoignent d'une vibration plus intérieure, plus intime.

After a first exhibition at the Galerie Lazarew Paris in the spring of 2014, the Ecuadorian artist Isabel ESPINOZA had her first exhibition in Brussels. The work of Isabel ESPINOZA cannot confine itself to a single medium: drawing, sculpture, painting, installations, performance, the Ecuadorian artist physically invests in a work where the vacuum and space take a key role. It is always a matter of identity, as evidenced by the recent works in her series Metafora de los Escudos or Centros y Desbordes. But her latest works on paper, on which the color makes his appearance, bear witness of a more internal and intimate vibration.
