Rafiy's painting is populated with faces, symbols, signs and Decline as a partition of shapes and colors. It mixes materials Modest ones such as coffee grounds or rust to more traditional materials such as Oil or crude pigments. Powerful and aesthetic, his painting is none the less loaded with social content. Rafiy says working in "the noise of the world". Very influenced by the actuality, he conceives his production as a way to put order in the chaos of the real, to fight against the oblivion, to keep in memory.
