From his unique approach to tapestry to his work with raw materials, action (structured and repetitive) has always been Pierre Daquin’s artistic language: weaving, folding, painting, fraying, tearing, burning… These gestures reveal hidden layers, affirming again and again that the artist’s focus lies in the act of unveiling.
